On June 2, 2026, Miss Aranya Pornchaiya, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), conducted a field inspection in Soi Pracha Uthit 76, Thung Khru District, to monitor infrastructure upgrades driven by public complaints. Joined by Thung Khru District Director Ms. Praphen Ditthasuwan and other BMA executives, the visit focused on assessing localized public utility enhancements designed to directly elevate neighborhood safety and convenience ahead of the heavy monsoon season.
The primary focus of the inspection was municipal safety and traffic management. Out of 58 streetlights surveyed within the Tai Saphan Zone 1 community, officials identified two broken units and immediately coordinated with the Provincial Electricity Authority to restore them to full operation. To enhance pedestrian and motorist safety at high-risk, busy intersections, the Thung Khru District Office also installed a strategic speed bump along the road adjacent to the expressway at Soi Pracha Uthit 76 Yaek 4-2.
Furthermore, significant flood-mitigation projects were evaluated along the main thoroughfare. Outside Burana Suksa School, contractors are actively raising the road surface and laying down additional drainage pipes to resolve historical issues with stagnant floodwater. Complementing this structural adjustment, a private contractor successfully completed the comprehensive cleaning of 9,490 meters of local drainage lines. Miss Aranya emphasized that continuous public utility development remains a top BMA priority. She instructed the Thung Khru District Office to maintain this momentum by swiftly and tangibly resolving lingering neighborhood grievances to ensure long-term public well-being.
