From 14-16 July 2023, the BMA organized the BMA EXPO 2023 at the Benchakiti Forest
Park Museum (Thailand Tobacco Factory 5), located in Benchakiti Park of Khlong Toei District.
This was intended to be an “open house” for the public to learn about BMA’s works for
Bangkok for the first time through exhibitions and panel discussions.
“The BMA EXPO 2023 showcased the BMA’s accomplishments from the previous year
and ongoing projects to highlight the issues the BMA has resolved and the path it plans
to take going forward. The public therefore perceived that the BMA seeks to carry out an
extensive range of works in Bangkok. According to the 9 Aspects of 9 Good Policies, the BMA
has solved more than 200,000 capillary issues throughout Bangkok. As such, the Governor
of Bangkok is not the only person working on this issue as it would not succeed without the
cooperation of the BMA team, executives, members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council,
government officials, employees, and associates in every sector who work together to fulfil
their tasks in order to make Bangkok a livable city.”
