
On June 4, 2026, Dr. Lertluck Leelaruangsang, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), presided over the graduation ceremony for the 15th Medical and Public Health Administration Training Course (MPA 15). Held at the Medical Service Department Office in Bangkok Noi District, the ceremony celebrated 30 senior medical professionals who successfully completed a rigorous 56-day program running from March 11 to June 5, 2026. Dr. Lertluck congratulated the graduates, calling them the hope and future of the BMA Medical Services Department. She emphasized that their selection was a result of senior executives recognizing their potential to grow into vital leaders capable of navigating a broader, well-rounded executive vision.
The comprehensive curriculum combined academic examinations, leadership training, management coursework, and field trips, requiring an 80 percent attendance rate alongside strict behavioral assessments. Instructors included BMA executives and public-private sector experts. The graduating cohort comprised 27 officials from the Medical Service Department, two from the Public Health Department, and one external representative from Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University. Highlighting individual achievements, Dr. Lertluck presented five distinguished awards, recognizing Mr. Peerapat Sahasakkul for Outstanding Leadership, Mr. Nattapong Angsuthasawit for both the Popularity and top Academic honors, Ms. Pharavee Prayoonhong for Outstanding Personality, and Mr. Phumiprat Kaewmahananil for second place in academic excellence.
Looking ahead, Dr. Lertluck shared two vital insights for modern healthcare administration, focusing heavily on managing people amidst the complex challenges of emerging diseases and fast-evolving technology. She urged the new administrators to support their teams’ morale while driving continuous development through technology and innovation. Beyond the classroom, the training successfully fostered critical networking and professional friendships among diverse medical fields, providing a collaborative foundation for graduates to collectively solve real-world problems and elevate the overall quality of life for Bangkok’s citizens.
