BMA Participates in the Launch of “Never Violence!” Book, Advocating for the Elimination of Violence and the Creation of Safe Spaces for Children

(February 21, 2026) Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, attended the launch of the book “Never Violence!” centered on the theme “Ending All Violence: Voices of Peace and Children’s Rights,” held at TK Park, 8th floor of CentralWorld, Pathum Wan District. The event was organized by the Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park) in collaboration with Barefoot Banana Publishing, Naked Publishing, and the Embassy of Sweden in Thailand. The objective was to establish a public forum dedicated to the promotion of children’s rights and the advocacy for peaceful coexistence.

This publication articulates the philosophies of Astrid Lindgren, a renowned Swedish author of children’s literature, who posits that nurturing children with understanding, respect, and kindness is essential for fostering a peaceful society. The event featured an official book launch ceremony and a live performance by Ms. Duangjai Hiransri. Additionally, it included a poetry reading titled “If I Were God” by Radklao Amradit, a panel discussion focused on “Ending All Violence: Children’s Welfare and Rights in Thailand,” as well as the “Never Violence” exhibition.

The exhibition will be on display from February 21st to March 1st, 2026, at TK Park, providing a space for learning and exchanging perspectives on gentleness and coexistence in daily life.
