BMA. opens up the world of learning outside the classroom, inviting “adventures in space” at the Little Scientist Day Festival 2024.

Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok presided over the opening press conference “Little Scientist Day Festival 2024” under the theme “Adventures in Space” at NSTDA Science Square, 5th floor, The Street Ratchada, Din Daeng District.

Deputy Governor Sanon said that the important policies of the Governor of Bangkok, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, have two big issues: education and public health, in which education is important. Because the city can be good. The people who live in the city must also be good. The heart of good education for urban development is to make children better than their parents, such as education, occupation, and environment.

What BMA. will do is make schools under BMA. a safe place for children. Make children want to come to school. To free children from various conditions, allowing them to live in a good society, BMA. has expanded the age range for accepting children into school earlier from 4 years of age to 3 years. As for the preschool child development center Previously, children were accepted from 2 years to 1.5 years to allow children to enter the educational curriculum as quickly as possible.
In addition, school teaching hours will be extended in the evening with the After School Program: study, and play after school. and Saturday School. BMA. must take special care of early childhood children under 7 years of age because this is an important period of child development. With a course to develop competency in all 5 areas

The “Little Scientists Day Festival” project is another project that “Do less but get more” by the policy of the Governor of Bangkok. It also helps drive the learning city policy that BMA. is ready to support. In the past, schools from many jurisdictions have participated in this project. Including schools under the jurisdiction of BMA. itself, they have seen the importance and have participated in this project for more than 10 years, and there has been good expansion within the schools as well.

As a representative of BMA. I am delighted and delighted for the children that both government and private agencies have come together to organize science, technology, and innovation learning activities.
That is fun for young children or early childhood children who are like they are growing up. Create opportunities for learning that are not limited to learning according to the school curriculum. and create learning through experiences outside the classroom
Promoting science learning is an important foundation for children to develop rational thinking processes. Helps children develop well, leading to quality growth. And can be used to continue learning in the classroom in the future. On this occasion, we invite children to join in an adventure in space. During the Little Scientist Day Festival 2024 from today until 31 August 2024.
