It’s started! Bangkok Sports Festival 2024 is super fun with competitions in 4 sports throughout May.

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, chaired the press conference for the 2024 Bangkok Sports Festival and opened the table tennis court at Benjakitti Sports Center, Khlong Toei District.

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok said that sports are an important matter for the city. It helps us to be healthy and have a clear mind. This is something we are proud of because it is Benjakitti Park’s sports center, which has various types of sports fields to play in. Today we are opening another court, namely table tennis. After this, there will be cycling, yoga, and extreme sports. For the Bangkok Sports Festival 2024, Bangkok organized sports competitions because competition is a part of stimulating people and increasing the potential of athletes. But for this sports center, everyone can use its services every day of the year at no cost. In this regard, we would like to thank all the private sectors that help support this Benjakitti Sports Center to be a quality exercise place for the people of the city.

Bangkok is organizing the Bangkok Sports Festival 2024 starting on April 27 and throughout May with a sports festival for Bangkokians, especially 4 sports competitions: “Futsal” and “Petanque” for teams from 50 districts. It includes “3×3 Basketball” and the newest sport, “Pickleball,” which is open to everyone. There are competitions at the Benjakiti Sports Center, the Wachirabet Chatat Sports Center, and the finals at the Kon Muang Plaza, Bangkok City Hall. Everyone will find fun sports activities, win prizes throughout the event, and have fun ending the festival with Bangkok E-Sports 2024. You can follow the details and competition program of the 2024 Bangkok Sports Festival on the Bangkok Sports Festival Facebook page.

On the same day, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt presided over the official opening of the table tennis court at Benjakitti Sports Center.
