Dr. Wantanee Wattana, Permanent Secretary of BMA, chaired the meeting of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Exhibition Committee for the year 2024, attended by the BMA executive committee.

This meeting was to inform the committee of basic information on organizing the Bangkok exhibition, both in the operational plan and public relations plan. It is for all agencies to be aware of the overall operating framework together. This year’s event is called BKK EXPO 2024 under the concept of #CityCanChangeBYYou. Over the past two years, the city has developed and changed with the power of three groups of people: network partners, citizens, government officials, and Bangkok personnel. There are 3 events scheduled as follows: 1. Presentation of 2-year works and 1st sub-exhibition between 28 May – 2 June 2024 at BACC, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. 2. BKK EXPO 2024 Bangkok exhibition exhibition between 20 – 23 June 2024 at the museum building, Benjakiti Park and 3. 2nd mini-exhibition during August 2024.

Information from various departments within the organization will be divided into 5 groups according to missions and organized by a central organization.

There is a Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok overseeing operations in each mission group and consisting of:

  1. A city of economy, opportunity and hope

  2. A city of travel, paths and waterways

  3. A city of creativity, education, and lifelong learning.

  4. A city of sustainability, energy, and the environment

  5. A city of safety, health, life, and property.

There is also a central event organized. The Permanent Secretary of Bangkok has assigned all departments to coordinate work according to mission groups and find highlighted issues or interesting ideas to present at the next meeting.
