The Malaysian delegates visited Bangkok to learn about the city’s benefits for its employees.
Chadchart provided details of a welfare scheme for employees of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), which covers healthcare and education for employees and their children, as well as a pension scheme for retired workers.
The governor said that healthcare and education are key factors to reduce inequality among city residents and promote a strong, self-sustainable society.
BMA officials and their Malaysian counterparts also discussed obstacles faced by both cities, including floods, traffic congestion, PM2.5 air pollution, public transport, waste management, public health, and disaster prevention.
