
BMA is the first public sector organisation in Thailand and across the Asia-Pacific region to join UNDP’s Gender Seal programme, which assesses how organisations promote gender equality. It is also the first in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific to achieve the Gold certification.
BMA joined the UNDP Gender Seal on 15 August 2023—and achieved Gold with a 94.8% score, meeting 38 out of 40 indicators, including all mandatory criteria. This reflects strong alignment with international standards across five key dimensions.
