BMA sent athletes to participate in the 56th World Youth Games, held in León, United States of Mexico. Between 15-20 July 2024, including 4 sports, including 17 athletes, divided into 8 swimming athletes, 4 athletics, 2 taekwondo, and 3 tennis.
After finishing the competition on July 19, 2024, the Bangkok sports team was able to win 7 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals by sending athletes to compete in 4 sports as follows.
1. Swimming: Gold medal in 4×100 m freestyle relay (female), gold medal in 4×100 m freestyle relay (men), gold medal in 4×100 m medley relay (men), medal. Silver in 400 m. freestyle (men), silver in 100 m. breaststroke (men), silver in 100 m. backstroke (women), silver in 4×100 m. medley relay (women), silver in 4×100 m. 50 m (male), silver medal in 200 m backstroke (female), silver medal in 200 m breaststroke (male), bronze medal in 50 m backstroke (female) and bronze medal in 50 m butterfly (female).
2. Taekwondo: Gold medal in Taekwondo, weight not exceeding 55 kg., men, Gold medal, Taekwondo, weight not exceeding 42 kg., women.
3. Athletics: Gold medal in the men’s 100-meter run, Silver medal in the 4×100 meter medley relay.
4. Tennis: Gold medal in tennis, men’s singles and bronze medal, tennis, women’s doubles.
