A team of Dutch ambassadors visited BMA to discuss plans for urban development and sustainable water management, piloting 4 important areas.

The Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management along with the delegation paid a courtesy call to the Governor of Bangkok. To discuss cooperation with Bangkok on sustainable urban development with water at BMA City Hall, Giant Swing.

Today is a discussion on cooperation with BMA in the matter of Sustainable urban development and water According to the Hotspots Analysis for Water as Leverage report, Dutch water researchers presented 16 pilot target areas (hotspots) to the Governor of Bangkok last month. August 2023, BMA has agreed with the research team to develop 4 pilot areas:

1. Khlong Lat Phrao

2. Don Mueang District

3. Waterways passing through the eastern Bangkok area

4. Bangkok Bay area 

That area is an area that is experiencing problems but has the potential and influences changes at the neighborhood level. That is consistent with water management and urban development policies. This can be a model for further development in other areas.
