Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok welcomed Mr. Yoo Jeong-bok, Mayor of Incheon along with a delegation from Incheon, Republic of Korea on the occasion of paying a courtesy call on the Governor of Bangkok and signing a memorandum of understanding on promoting cooperation between Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand and Incheon, Republic of Korea at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Ratchathewi District.
Today’s visit is to discuss future cooperation between each other sign a memorandum of understanding and strengthen relations between Incheon and Bangkok. It includes expanding cooperation in areas such as culture, tourism, technology, industry, education, etc. It must consider interesting issues in furthering development such as tourism by attracting tourists through cultural tourism cooperation between Bangkok and Incheon to stimulate the tourism economy in the areas of both cities. It can increase income for the people and organize festivals to promote joint tourism so that the citizens of the two cities can realize the relationship.
By supporting international business centers in the Bangkok area, encouraging more large companies to do business in Bangkok to create new jobs and careers leading to economic prosperity, and promoting the creative economy. It can push Hi-Tech and Hi-Touch to develop opportunities and potential in the Bangkok market as well as support Bangkok as a creative economy center in Asia.
