Every 1 time you fill-up the water dispenser will reduce the use of 1 plastic water bottle. Currently, there are 10 free drinking water dispensers installed: 1. Around Gate 6, Benjakiti Park 2. Pickleball Court, Benjakiti Park 3. Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC), 4. Plaza in front of Trimurti Shrine, Central World. 5. Air-conditioned bus stop in front of Seacon Square Srinakarin. 6. Fortune Town Rama 9 7. Thonburirom Park, Thung Khru District 8. “Rotfai Park” or Wachirabenjathat Park, Chatuchak District 9. Na Phra Lan Tunnel, Phra Nakhon District, and 10. Tha Maharat, Phra Nakhon District Bangkok plans to install 200 free drinking water dispensers at every public health center, district office, and public park. Currently, operations have begun, including coordinating with the private sector in using the area to install water dispensers to provide convenience and comprehensive service to the people.
“Thank you to EJF for helping to do good things for the people of Bangkok. It is important to cooperate with the private sector. Various foundations. Various buildings that are installed include government agencies. If we work together, the installation will be complete according to the set goals in the blink of an eye. If the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is responsible for the installation itself, it might be a little slow,” he said.
In this regard, the results of the project since August 2023 onwards have been able to reduce the use of 456,894 plastic bottles.
