Bangkok strengthens relations with Finland to discuss waste-to-energy project.

 

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok welcomed H.E. Mr. Ville Tavio, Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of the Republic of Finland along with H.E. Mr. Jyri Jarviaho, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Thailand and the delegation to visit and discuss relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Finland regarding the circular economy, Bangkok’s development plan, Refuse Derived Fuel: RDF and Bangkok’s waste-to-energy project plan. On this occasion, the Governor of Bangkok presented two volumes of the book “Very Bangkok: In the City of the Senses” as souvenirs.

 

In this regard, the Governor of Bangkok is interested in waste management technology and waste-to-electricity conversion and would like to see the work of a private company that has presented and has a factory base in Thailand. He would like to meet with representatives of the Finnish-Thai Chamber of Commerce to know the needs and assistance from Bangkok and will assign the Foreign Office to act as the coordinator.
