Launching the activity “Pak Ka Park”, a park that creates happiness for a healthy city and invites everyone to use public spaces, Sunday 24 and 31 March 2024 at Benjasiri Park, Khlong Toei District.

Mr. Pornphrom Vikitsreth, Advisor to the Governor of Bangkok and the first Chief Sustainability Officer of the BMA, attended the press conference to launch the activity “Pak Ka Park,” a park that creates happiness for a healthy city, at All Day Fine x Good Cafe, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Chatuchak District.

This activity will be organized to raise awareness of increasing health areas and green public areas on a wide scale by connecting network partners in all sectors through activities that exchange knowledge for systematic development and management. It can disseminate the working methods and dynamics of the project to everyone to understand the goals together, as well as promote knowledge and results from project implementation in various dimensions. The activity will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, and Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Benjasiri Park, Khlong Toei District. Activities at the event will be divided into 3 main categories, consisting of 1. Activity to share public space development trends with special guests to discuss public space. 2. Activity to take a break to see the exhibition: 9 lessons from operations and music in the garden. 3. Play breaks are creative activities in the garden that promote guidelines for the development of public space in 6 issues together with network partners.

However, this activity is one of the activities that Bangkok joins with the Healthy Space Alliance: HSA and the we!park group with support from the Health Promotion Foundation (Thai Health Promotion Foundation) to carry out the project. The three goals are: 1. Unlocking the city’s potential, 2. Improving the quality of life and health. 3. Promote people’s potential by Organizing various activities in terms of research, participatory processes, creating prototype areas, and others to promote the increase of healthy areas and green public areas together with network partners in the government, private sector, professional sector, educational sector, and civil society sector.
