Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, presided over the opening ceremony of the project “Reviving mangrove apple trees at Bang Lamphu Canal” along Bang Lamphu Canal (in front of King Taksin Shrine), Phra Nakhon District.
“Since I have been working in the community for the past 10 years, this period is when the Bang Lamphu Canal has the best ecosystem due to the cooperation of academic departments from universities, Bangkok, government agencies, the private sector, and strong communities. When the ecosystem is strong, the hardest-to-plant mangrove apple trees can continue to grow sustainably. We can see that each community has never disappeared but has become stronger. This is the starting point for youth, people in the community, and everyone working together to make Bang Lamphu and the Phra Nakhon District lively.” The Deputy Governor of Bangkok spoke at the activity of “Reviving mangrove apple trees at Bang Lamphu Canal”
