Ready to open the doors this March! Bueng Nong Bon Park will seamlessly step into Suan Luang Rama IX and connect the Thousand Rai Park area, which is the largest in Bangkok.

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok visited the area to follow up on the progress of the project to develop and improve the park area of Bueng Nong Bon Sports Center in Prawet District.

Mr. Chadchart said that we have a project to develop and improve the park area at Bueng Nong Bon Sports Center. Suan Bueng Nong Bon has an area of over 600 rai and the adjacent Suan Luang Rama IX has an area of over 500 rai. Currently, these 2 parks are not connected. If you want to go between the two parks, you must leave one of the parks first. Right now, we are working on connecting doors which will be completed by March. If completed, it will create the largest public park, covering 1,144 rai. There is also a drainage tunnel for Bueng Nong Bon which previously had a collapse problem at Khlong Khled, which is currently being solved. And Bueng Nong Bon here is a wetland.

As for the problems with Bueng Nong Bon Sports Center Park right now, the running walkway and bicycle path are still not separated and 15 other projects need to be improved. After that, Mr. Chadchart and the group went to the cycling area to explore the actual route around Bueng Nong Bon, the construction area of the connection route between Bueng Nong Bon Sports Center Park and Suan Luang Rama IX and the area of the water activity pier, Bueng Nong Bon Sports Center.

Mr. Chadchart has emphasized that the construction must take into account Universal Design for people of all genders, ages, and physical conditions without limitations and has also emphasized that the lighting must be improved. When the connection between the two parks is completed, there will be a thousand-rai public park for the happiness of the people.
