BMA is ready to be a part of pushing Noise into Voice, supporting women as important mechanisms of society equally for everyone.

Assoc. Prof. Tavida Kamolvej, Deputy Governor of Bangkok Representing BMA as the owner of the area giving the welcome speech at the Her Awards, UNFPA Thailand 2024 project.

Deputy Governor Tavida said that the society of Thailand and Bangkok is open to a lot of diversity. And BMA has promoted a lot of diversity. But wherever I go, I still encounter questions about this. What is the status of women in Bangkok? It reflects that in the Bangkok area. There are still women who may still have domestic violence. There are still many women who haven’t had the opportunity. Compared with countries around the world, the level of development is not the same. I once thought that we had moved forward a lot. There is talk of LGBTQIA+ economic opportunity. It’s healthy. But in the end, when I came back and asked if all women had received those opportunities, the real answer was Still, thanks to this project for trying to have the female population reflect that inspiration. At the very least, I feel like people are listening to these little voices, trying to make Noise become an important voice. I want to encourage everyone. I want to see that everyone’s story is unique. May the opening of the project in Bangkok today encourage all women to be equally important mechanisms of society.
