Dr. Wantanee Wattana, Permanent Secretary of BMA, chaired the meeting to prepare for organizing volunteer activities in honor of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 28 July 2024, with executives and representatives of relevant Bangkok Metropolitan Administration agencies attending the meeting at the Erawan Room, Bangkok City Hall (Giant Swing).

Preparing to organize volunteer activities to honor His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 6th cycle birthday, 28 July 2024, Bangkok will carry out development activities in 6 areas: 1. Canal development 2. Public health 3. Environment 4. Education 5. Social development and 6. Public disaster.

At today’s meeting, the Permanent Secretary of Bangkok inquired with relevant agencies in all 6 areas about plans for organizing volunteer activities and ordered all agencies to organize at least one volunteer activity per month. In addition, all agencies have been urged to begin operating volunteer activities within March, including continuing to publicize various activities.
