The Governor of Bangkok welcomed Prof. Robert F. Engle III, Nobel Prize winner in economics, discussed policy developments and invited him to visit Bangkok and Thailand.

 

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, welcomed Professor Robert F. Engle III, Nobel Prize winner in Economics, along with his spouse and Mr. Uwe Morawetz, Founding Chairman of the International Peace Foundation’s Board of Directors on the occasion of visiting and paying respects while traveling to do activities in Thailand. On this occasion, the Governor of Bangkok welcomed him and talked about economics and related science work and invited him to visit Bangkok and Thailand.

Incidentally, Professor Robert F. Engle III received the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2003 based on his work with Professor Clive W.J. Granger, he developed a “method for analyzing time series of economic fluctuations” that has enabled economists to more accurately predict economic events.
