The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has opened two more vaccination units – at Victoria Gardens and Seacon Bangkhae shopping malls – to provide free Covid-19 jabs to residents in the city’s southwest.
Deputy governor Tavida Kamolvej on Friday inspected the units, which are operated by staff from Ratchaphiphat Hospital.
The unit at Victoria Gardens is located on floor G, next to True Shop. It will open daily from 10am to 7.30pm until May 12.
The unit at Seacon Bangkhae is on floor B, opposite MK Restaurant. It will open daily from 10.30am to 7pm until May 17.
People can walk in to get a free booster of the Moderna bivalent vaccine, which is effective against both the original Wuhan strain and the Omicron subvariants.
Shots will be provided to people above the age of 12 who have received at least one vaccine or have recovered from a Covid-19 infection more than three months ago.
Recipients are advised to register their vaccination history on the Mor Prom application in advance for faster service. For more information, contact Line ID @1RPP.
