Mr. Somboon Homnan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of BMA presided over the opening ceremony of the activity “Sustainable Market” at the side of the Benjakiti Forest Park Museum building, Benjakiti Park, Khlong Toei District.

BMA by the Environment Agency Together with environmental network partners in the government, private sector, and communities in the Bangkok area, organized the “Sustainable Market” activity to drive a good environmental city in conjunction with the BKK EXPO 2024 between 20 – 23 June 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. At the side of the Benjakiti Forest Park Museum building, Benjakiti Park, the event will feature workshop demonstration activities and product innovation displays. There is also a project to accept donations of old or unused underwear. Showcasing the first drive-thru pick-up point for clean unused packaging in Thailand. Purchasing recycled materials Accepting donations of plastic water bottle caps to be used to label trees in parks. Seedling distribution activity Selling environmentally friendly products, etc. along with having fun playing games and receiving many prizes from network partners.
