Deputy Governor of Bangkok, Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, visited Prayamonthaturadsripijit School in Bang Bon District to observe the Edsx AI Speaking Coach tool being used to teach speaking skills as part of a pilot project titled “Evaluating and developing English communication potential with artificial intelligence technology.”

Bangkok has launched a project in partnership with Education Easy (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to evaluate and enhance the English communication skills of Grade 4 students. The project makes use of online artificial intelligence technology and is operational in 6 pilot schools in Bangkok. Two classrooms per school will benefit from this program at no additional cost. The goal is to improve the English-speaking capabilities of students. The project has been running since November 2023.

Prayamonthaturadsripijit School is 1 of 6 pilot schools in the project. From the survey of students who used the program, most of them enjoyed learning through the program. As a result, students are more interested in learning because besides studying at school, they can also study from home or other places via computers or mobile phones. It will be able to improve Thai children’s English skills.
