The meeting was held at Suthat Room, 2nd Floor, Bangkok City Hall (Sao Chingcha), to discuss operational guidelines and establish a shared understanding of procedures at the local level for providing emergency accommodation through the Airbnb platform to people affected by disasters.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe meeting followed the signing of the MOU between the BMA and Airbnb.org on 11 May 2026, to exchange information and discuss how the cooperation can be implemented at the local level. Including key procedures, verifying people affected by disasters, submitting information, and using the Airbnb platform to facilitate access to emergency accommodation. The BMA and Airbnb.org will work together to develop operational guidelines to ensure that relevant agencies can implement the program in a clear and consistent manner. Training on the Airbnb platform will also be provided to relevant officers to strengthen their ability to support people affected by disasters.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThrough this cooperation, the BMA and Airbnb.org aim to strengthen the city\u2019s emergency response by providing affected people with access to temporary accommodation when they are unable to stay in their houses. The implementation will be monitored on an ongoing basis, with relevant agencies working together to ensure that support can be provided efficiently and in a timely manner.<br \/>\nThe meeting also discussed the potential expansion of the partnership to provide accommodation support for patients who need the medical treatment at hospitals.
