Held at The Sukosol Hotel in Phaya Thai District, the workshop represents a strategic effort to systematically drive the BMA toward carbon neutrality. It serves as a core activity under the Master Plan on Climate Change 2021\u20132030, which focuses on enhancing energy efficiency and integrating alternative energy within government structures. The initiative directly builds upon a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the BMA and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) under the Thai-German cooperation project on energy, transportation, and climate change, with GIZ providing critical support for the energy management feasibility study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taksin Hospital has been designated as the first pilot building for this initiative. The study results from this location, which encompass comprehensive energy-saving measures and detailed financial analyses, will serve as a foundational blueprint to expand energy-efficient implementations across 14 other legally controlled buildings under the BMA that exhibit high electricity consumption. This workshop brought together experts from SCG Building &amp; Living Care Consulting alongside representatives from various municipal entities, including the Environment, Medical Service, Public Works, Strategy and Evaluation, and Finance departments. Personnel from the 14 targeted facilities, comprising four district offices, six hospitals, two city halls, and two specialized centers, collaboratively brainstormed and exchanged technical knowledge.
