Held at Bangkok City Hall (Sao Chingcha) and via electronic teleconferencing, the session focused on transforming the BMA into a modern, high-performance Public Sector 4.0 organization. This modernization initiative aligns with national mandates aimed at enhancing municipal efficiency, fostering open connectivity, and implementing citizen-centric operational frameworks across all local government departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A primary objective of the meeting was preparing and upgrading administrative standards across BMA agencies to qualify for the prestigious Public Sector Excellence Awards, the highest honor bestowed by the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC). To become eligible for these annual awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in Public Service, Participatory Governance, and PMQA 4.0, agencies must first pass a rigorous self-assessment. This state-mandated framework evaluates institutional performance across seven key categories: visionary leadership, data-driven strategic planning, technological collection of citizen and stakeholder needs, database-supported knowledge management, professional human resource management, efficient operational process management, and strategy-responsive results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recognizing that the timeframe to submit projects for the upcoming evaluation cycle is compressed, Miss Aranya directed all relevant BMA departments to expedite their procedures. The committee assigned municipal agencies to immediately select and refine their most outstanding and innovative public projects.
