Announced on April 1, 2026, by BMA Spokesman Aekvarunyoo Amrapala, the initiative adds a dedicated feature to the popular Traffy Fondue platform, allowing residents to book essential veterinary services for their dogs and cats with just a few taps on their smartphones. While bookings are currently live, the BMA\u2019s proactive mobile veterinary units are scheduled to hit the streets starting April 21, 2026, to provide on-site assistance across the city\u2019s various neighborhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Navigating the new system is designed to be seamless. Residents can simply add the @TraffyFondue account on LINE, select the &#8220;BMA Dog and Cat Registration&#8221; menu, and provide basic details about their pets. A city official will then follow up within three days to finalize an appointment. The service is structured strategically based on the number of animals requiring care; for instance, when 30 or more pets are gathered in a single household or immediate area, the BMA guarantees a mobile unit visit within 15 days. In cases with fewer than 30 pets, district offices will collect requests from nearby residents over a 30-day period; if the total number meets the required threshold, a mobile unit will be dispatched to the area, or owners may instead be advised to bring their pets to one of the ten Public Health Veterinary service points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the Traffy Fondue integration, the BMA continues to offer flexibility through the QueQ application for fixed-point appointments and traditional mobile unit calendars for those who prefer to track local visits. For animals that are already microchipped, the city has introduced a fully digital registration process via the ThaiD application, which issues a digital pet identification card upon verification. By lowering the barriers to these services, the BMA aims to foster a culture of long-term shared responsibility.
