The ceremony honored fifteen students from BMA-affiliated schools who were selected to receive educational grants from the Aichi-kai Club. This tradition of giving began in 1989, and this year marks the 38th time the club has provided these vital scholarships to support the city’s youth.

The Aichi-kai Club, founded in 1978 (B.E. 2521), is an association of companies and organizations headquartered in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, that operate branches in Thailand. Currently consisting of 133 member companies, the club was established to strengthen the relationship between Japan and Thailand while conducting activities for the benefit of both its members and the public. Leading the delegation was Mr. Shintaroh Takeuchi, the President of DENSO (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who also serves as the President of the Aichi-kai Club.

During the event, Deputy Permanent Secretary Aranya expressed her deep appreciation for the club’s long-standing generosity. She noted that while there is no formal cooperation agreement, the club’s consistent voluntary support of BMA students significantly bolsters the city’s “Good Learning” policy. These scholarships provide equitable access to education, ensuring that students have the resources to develop essential skills for the future. Furthermore, this initiative serves as a key defensive measure for the “Zero Dropout” policy by encouraging students to stay in the formal education system and reach their full academic potential.

Mr. Shintaroh Takeuchi emphasized that education is the fundamental cornerstone for nurturing individuals who will drive sustainable development for the nation. He also thanked the BMA for its professional organization of the ceremony. To show their gratitude, the scholarship recipients presented handmade souvenirs to the Aichi-kai Club executives. This 38th scholarship cycle continues a legacy of friendship and public service that has supported generations of Bangkok students since the late 1980s.

#BMASchoolsHaveChanged #AichikaiScholarship

On March 30, 2025, Ms. Aranya Pornchaiya, Deputy Perman …

อ่านเพิ่มเติม “Aichi-kai Club President Awards 38th Round of Scholarships to the BMA Students to Foster Educational Equity”

[267

post-588237","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-eng0
["GET
