Using the metaphor of the city as a biological body, the Governor emphasized that if the smallest pathways—the capillaries—are blocked, the entire system suffers. This proactive visit targeted the BMA’s “9 Good” policies, specifically focusing on mobility, safety, and economic self-reliance. A major point of contention was the delayed drainage project in Soi Phueng Mi 50, where resident complaints of road subsidence and hazardous debris led to a stern directive for contractors. Governor Chadchart mandated that the work and road surface restoration be fast-tracked for completion no later than May 2026 to ensure public safety and smooth transit.

The inspection also highlighted successful infrastructure milestones and community-led safety requests. While a new drainage channel in Soi Punnawithi 36 has reached completion, the BMA is now moving to install the requested guardrails to protect residents using the area for exercise. This commitment to “Good Safety” was matched by “Good Health” initiatives, including a rabies vaccination drive in Rung Arun Village that covered 70 pets and an update on the construction of Public Health Center 32. In the environmental sector, the Supha Phong Community was praised for its sophisticated waste-sorting system, where 107 households have successfully categorized refuse into four streams, significantly reducing waste while generating a savings fund for local youth.

Rounding out the visit, the Governor championed “Good Learning” and “Good Economy” by visiting cultural and vocational hubs. At Wat Dhammamongkol, the Lanna Cultural Heritage School uses traditional drumming and dance to bridge generational gaps and keep youth away from drugs, while the BMA Vocational Training Center offers over 20 courses to empower the unemployed. From electrical work to Thai massage, these programs are designed to provide residents with the tools for long-term independence. By integrating data-driven oversight with direct community feedback, Governor Chadchart aims to ensure that Phra Khanong’s vital “capillaries” are clear, transparent, and serving the residents effectively.

#GoodMobility #GoodSafety #GoodHealth #GoodEnvironment #GoodEconomy #GoodLearning

On March 21, 2026, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of …

อ่านเพิ่มเติม “Healing the City’s Capillaries: Governor Chadchart Accelerates Infrastructure and Welfare in Phra Khanong”

[267

post-585892","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-eng0
["GET
