Accompanied by Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, and other senior education officials, the Governor met with the grade 10 and 11 students selected from 10 secondary schools across nine districts. The group is scheduled to visit Japan from March 21 to 26, 2026, where they will collaborate with Japanese youth on the theme of entrepreneurship and gain firsthand experience in a global setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the ceremony, Governor Chadchart emphasized the importance of curiosity, urging the students to constantly &#8220;Ask!&#8221; and inquire about why different cities operate the way they do to foster a deeper learning process. He reminded the delegation that they serve as ambassadors for Bangkok and must maintain appropriate conduct to honor their city. Beyond academic gain, he encouraged the youth to prioritize their health and proactively build friendships with their Japanese peers. The Governor noted that the true value of the program lies in the students&#8217; return, as they are expected to multiply and share their newfound knowledge with their local school communities to help develop Bangkok into a more livable city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Governor Sanon added that even a short-term international experience can act as a significant turning point in a young person&#8217;s life. He encouraged the participants to absorb as much as possible, specifically pointing to Japan&#8217;s renowned work culture and discipline as potential sources of inspiration. Led by Dr. Nanthaporn Janchalia Seributra, Adviser to the Governor of Bangkok, the delegation\u2019s visit is designed to spark innovative thinking and personal growth.
