Accompanied by members of the Friendly Design for All Foundation and individuals with visual and physical disabilities, the Governor sought real-world feedback to ensure the new infrastructure truly serves every citizen. He emphasized that a city&#8217;s survival and its ability to attract talent are directly linked to its philosophy of care, particularly through &#8220;Universal Design&#8221; that empowers the elderly and wheelchair users to navigate independently. Feedback from the wheelchair network and visually impaired participants highlighted the need for precise Braille block placement, using dot patterns specifically to warn of elevation changes, and the replacement of hazardous, wide-grating manhole covers that can trap canes or wheels. Governor Chadchart also addressed the need for &#8220;shady streets,&#8221; instructing agencies to prune trees for maximum canopy cover rather than merely clearing power lines.
