The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is expanding its &#8220;BMA Feeder&#8221; electric shuttle bus service, launching five new routes on 1st July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1477\" height=\"1108\" src=\"https:\/\/pr-bangkok.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/S__39035065_0-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-503994\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pr-bangkok.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/S__39035065_0-1.jpg 1477w, https:\/\/pr-bangkok.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/S__39035065_0-1-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pr-bangkok.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/S__39035065_0-1-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative aims to encourage residents to switch to public transport, easing traffic congestion and improving air quality across the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BMA Spokesperson Aekvarunyoo Amrapala announced on Monday that the BMA Feeder project, which currently operates two routes, will significantly expand its network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The existing services, running from Wat Purawas to Phra Phuttha Yodfa Bridge (weekdays, 6 AM &#8211; 8 PM) and Thonburi Market to MRT Lak Song (daily, 6 AM &#8211; 8 PM), commenced in December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming expansion will see five additional electric shuttle routes go live on 1st July 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Din Daeng \u2013 BTS Sanam Pao: Operating daily from 6 AM to 8 PM.<br>\u25cf MRT Bang Khun Non \u2013 4 Taling Chan Floating Markets: Weekend and public holiday service from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.<br>\u25cf Samsen Road linking Thonburi side (Tang Hua Seng): Weekday service from 6 AM to 7 PM.<br>\u25cf Keha Rom Klao Community \u2013 ARL Lat Krabang: Operating daily from 6 AM to 8 PM.<br>\u25cf Children&#8217;s Discovery Museum (Chatuchak) \u2013 BTS Mo Chit: Weekend and public holiday service from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BMA is implementing the &#8220;BMA Feeder&#8221; project, utilising electric shuttle buses, to seamlessly connect passengers to the existing rail public transport network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This move is part of a broader strategy to encourage greater use of public transportation, thereby reducing reliance on private vehicles, lowering air pollution levels, and mitigating Bangkok&#8217;s persistent traffic problems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(June 23, 2025) &#8211;
