The regulation bans vehicles with six wheels or more, except for EVs, NGVs, EURO 5 and EURO 6 vehicles, as well as those registered on the &#8216;Green List.&#8217;The measure will remain in effect until Bangkok&#8217;s PM 2.5 air pollution levels improve.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The BMA encourages operators to maintain their vehicles by performing essential services, such as oil and filter changes, and to submit the required documentation, such as receipts, through the &#8216;Green List Form&#8217; available on google forms: https:\/\/bit.ly\/47RK0Yy. Approved vehicles will be exempt from LEZ restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The enforcement process will utilize CCTV cameras and AI technology to detect and match vehicle license plates with the Green List database. Violators will face penalties of up to one month in jail, a fine of up to 2,000 THB, or both.
