Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok together with H.E. Mr. P\u00e9ter Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, presided over the opening ceremony of the installation of Mr. J\u00e1nos X\u00e1ntus’ sculpture and Budapest Lane at His Majesty the King’s 80th Anniversary Park, Sathorn District, to celebrate the 50th anniversary, the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the State of Hungary and the 25th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Bangkok and Budapest in 2023.<\/p>\n

The 80th Anniversary Chaloem Phrakiat Park, His Majesty the King Sathon District is a garden that the Governor of Bangkok intended to be an international garden in Bangkok. The lane signs and sculptures are a collaboration between Bangkok and the Hungarian Embassy in Thailand. The Budapest Promenade is 214 meters long. As for the sculpture, Mr. J\u00e1nos X\u00e1ntus was a Hungarian who was important to the history of Siam (Thailand) because he was the first Hungarian scientist and zoologist to visit Siam in 1869 and received the royal occasion to meet the Siamese royal family as well as being a person who benefited Siam in many ways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
